Le Corbusier in Legos

lego7108.jpgLast week this popped up online and still demands a mention: Le Corbusier's Villa Savoye lovingly, amazingly rendered in Legos.

Maybe architecture really is becoming more accessible...

Originally posted on a Lego fan site, the interiors, doors, windows, et al are rendered in amazing detail by Matija Grguric. See more closeups on the original post.

A poke around the other creations on the site reveals what we always suspected: We were lego layabouts back in the day.

Two of the best things ever finally come together: great design and Legos.

I LOVE IT! I'd like to see Falling Water or the Lovell-Health house done in this way too.

Aw! That's awesome!! I fondly remember building Corbu-inspired houses from legos when I was a wee lass (clear legos ROCK!). Never as detailed or grand as this, though.

I agree with Comicgeek--would love to see other gems done this way... how about a Gehry? Meier?
