Green Sawn
Including work in the recent and much-loved Smart Home exhibit, Chicago-based Green Sawn's practice revolves around using wood from local, recycled sources for its designs. Started in '07 by Aaron Michael Pahmier, this custom designer delivers beauty and function when it comes to green woodworking in all its forms...countertops, furniture, accessories, built-ins:
Left to Right:
- Red oak bookends (commissioned, 2008)
- Radiator cover (made for designer showcase home, 2007)
- Radius fir table (made from reclaimed fir and maple, 2008)
- Indoor plant stands (made from locally milled Siberian elm, 2008)
- Bench for Bikram Yoga Studio (made from locally milled sycamore wood, 2008)
