More green cleaning at Home and Housewares - this time for the laundry room. From Canada, Nellie's makes an ever-expanding line of earth-friendly goods for wash day...
Best of Home and Housewares 2008: Nellie's
They are the makers of the original Dryerballs, their first product, which they followed up with a Laundry Soda.
At the show they were presenting a few newer products:
Laundry Nuggets Detergent which comes in premeasured "nuggets" that you simply toss into the machine. The small plastic-looking packets are actually made from a corn starch and they dissolve easily in the wash.
They are also launching an automatic dishwasher detergent and laundry oxygen brightner (coming soon), which will feature the two hallmarks of Nellies - green, eco-friendly cleaning products and fun retro-style packaging design.

This stuff is fantastic! Their laundry soda doesn't leave a residue or irritate my skin, and their dryer balls eliminate the need for dryer sheets.
i don't know about US sales, but i've found that most organic/natural food stores carry it here in Canada, at least in the western provinces.

i received a box of these at the big e when i bought a set of dryerballs, and i love them! i just wish they would hurry up and put them out for sale at linens & things like the woman at the fair promised, because i'm running out!
