We've blogged Mrs. Meyers on AT many times. Yes, they're environmentally friendly and they work pretty well, but the real reason we stay addicted is that they smell so good. We've been long-time users of the geranium and lavender scents (both highly recommended), but we recently picked up some of the lemon verbena and basil (which Janel mentioned when it first came out). We have a new favorite...

Although the lemon verbena candle
($10) and all purpose cleaner
($8) have a very crisp smell, it's the basil countertop spray
($5) that really rocks. Scent is a very personal thing, so we can't say everyone will love it as much as we do, but it's pretty amazing. It's not a particularly herbal smell, but something more energizing and just a little bit briny (in a good way). A few of the ingredients: basil, parsley, black pepper, and eucalyptus. When we clean, it cuts right through every other scent and lingers for a long time.
What's your favorite cleaning scent?
Mrs. Meyers Geranium EVERYTHING.
And here's a wee hint to stretch your Mrs. Meyers-loving cleaning fun: Buy a can of boring 'ol 99 cent unscented powder cleaner (that no-scratch stuff in the gold and red can that I can't think of right now) and mix your powdered Mrs. Meyers cleaner with it. Two cans for the price of one!

The unscented powder cleanser is Bon Ami!

I *love* the geranium scent. My family and I stayed up at The Grand Hotel in Mackinac Island last summer and they use this stuff all over the place. -So the scent is doubly wonderful because of it's memory association.
I love the geranium scent so much that I wish they made personal care products. I've had a hard time finding good geranium stuff.
Also fantastic is the cat box powder. My kitties are livin' in style! It smells so good and clean.

Hey Pxlchk1 - they do make hand soap, bar soap and lotion, that's just as fabulously scented as the household stuff:

Sorry for the shameless pitch, they're a Mpls co and a friend works there so I know a little too much....

Lemon verbena is, hands down, my favorite Mrs. Meyer's scent.

Mrs Meyer's uses synthetic preservatives in their products, including parabens. Notice on the label that they do not disclose all the ingredients by name.
They aren't as green as people think they are.

Off topic: Does anyone know what that vase/mug thing is on the right? I recently saw it on a website but sold out in two colours and still available in the brown, but now I can't even remember where/what it was to buy a brown one! Arghhh, I want a BLUE ONE...

woodleyparkzoo, it's a graphic mug that I bought in San Francisco from the Curiosity Shoppe, $6.

Mrs. Meyers' website shows a limited-edition rhubarb scent. I have no idea what that would smell like, but my upper-Midwest friends would probably go nuts over it.

the latest is the best: rhubarb! (by Meyers)
but what's this about them not as green as they should be...

Yes, Curiosity Shop, maybe that's where I saw it! I so love the design! :)
