New Fragrance from Mrs. Meyers: Basil

2008-02-06-mrsbasil.jpg
Two things that we love are joining forces. Our favorite cleaning products and a great scent for the home...

...earth-friendly Mrs. Meyers cleaners are now available in Basil. Fresh and summery, it is one of those scents that makes us instantly feel better - so we're going to give the dish soap a try.

Can it knock our long time favorite, Geranium, off it's vaulted pedestal? Never! Well, maybe for the kitchen...

All the new Basil products are available here.

I would love to try Mrs. Meyer's, does "she" do an unscented? I can't use scented products and I find it very hard to find them.

Norma, Mrs. Meyer's are heavily scented, so you should try the Method unscented from Target.

Basil? Really? And your house doesn't smell like Bucca di Beppo?

I really find the Mrs. Meyers to be VERY effective, but I've had serious trouble with the electric dish washer soap. The scent leaches into all plastic and silicone dishware. We baked a loaf of bread in our silicone pan and the whole thing tasted like lemon verbena soap.

I just tried the basil scented dishwash. It does not smell like the real basil at all, in fact it smells rather artificial compare to the other great scents Mrs. Meyers have. My favorite is still lavender.
