Sometimes a true escape just isn't realistic, so every home needs a place right under your nose that you can use as a semi-escape. The best kind: a reading nook. Even tiny apartments can have a spot carved out with a small chair and table that serves as your "nook." Looking back on Hal & Ed's Edgewater house tour, we recalled how lucky they are to have two distinct reading/lounging areas...outfitted with great taste and with enough space to really kick up their feet. anyone know where to find a small cabinet similar to the one in the last picture? i'd love to find one in a Chicago antique store, but a new piece would work, too.
