apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Lovey Dovey for the Kitchen

020807poparttoaster.jpgOpening up our Time Out issue yesterday, we laughed when we saw the Pop Art toaster in all its Valentine glory.

Reading "I'm Hot!" or "Bite Me", the toast will certainly get a message across. We're wondering how this would show up on wheat, rye, or multigrain toast, though; the photo shows a piece of white bread (barely toasted!)

Also in the Time Out Critics' Pick list: Heart-shaped measuring cups by Fred Flare. The sweet and silly item comes in a range of pinks (pictured below):

Pop Art toaster ($30) available online at Broadway Panhandler.

Fred Flare Measure Your Love cups ($12) available online.

Any other ideas out there for heart-filled cooking??

Hi! This is Mia from fredflare.com! apartmentterapy.com is one of my favorites! Just browsing through Chicago and already finding a lot of fun posts to read! That toaster is pretty cute as well. Anyway, thanks so much for posting the cups! Keep up the genius work and I'll definitely keep reading it!

Crate & Barrel has some great Valentine-inspired items on sale right now, but I really love these heart-shaped silicone cake pans:
