A Partridge Family Christmas Card

2006-12-15-partridge.png The cool kids always loved the Partridge Family. We were hopelessly nerdy and therefore we were just a tiny bit more of a fan of the Brady Bunch.

Last summer we saw a few epiodes of the fantastically funky Partridges and (re)discovered that they really were the cool ones - the show is the Seventies preserved in amber.

We had no idea that this record ever existed so we have no memories tied to Keith's rendition of Winter Wonderland (our personal holiday fave) but we love the "Fake Family" Christmas card photo on the cover.

If you'd like to invite the Partridges to add some harmony to your holiday gathering, the cd is available at the Land of Nod for $15.

A review of the original Seventies release is here.

Thanks for the cool link, Janel.

Wow! Produced by Wil Ferrell's father. I did not know that.

Heh! I have that album. My older sisters bought it when I was a kid, back in the 70s. I also have the Happy Days record which features a picture of Fonzie as the cover art and it back of the album is designed like a picture frame so you can prop up your record and stare dreamily at Fonzie all day.
