Cork Placecard Holders

Last summer, we noticed tasting notes tucked into wine corks (for an informative, lovely display choice) at Provenance Food and Wine in Logan Square. If you like the idea but collecting corks, cutting appropriately, flattening the bottoms, and creating placecards seems too much in the vein of tedious for you, you can buy them online at Bright and Bold.

I just like to fold a nice paper in half and write a sentimental note or quote on the inside, personal to each guest. It makes them all feel special!

In a similar vein: Rachael Ray kind of makes me want to shoot myself but I might have to throw a dinner party just so I can use these placecards.
