Fresh flowers from Wig3000: camellia flowers from his/her yard,
Spring Cure 2008
Cut flowers are a beautiful component of the cure and we love it when they're straight from your own garden, like Wig3000's camellias above. But there are times when cut flowers aren't available locally, or the flower budget's nonexistent. For this, we love Danny Seo's scented paper flower idea...

Seo creates scented paper flowers from the perfumed scent ads in magazines. It's a great way to reuse these ads that are otherwise headed for the dumpster:
Just tear out a perfume advertisement for a scent you like. Cut out the perfume strip part and cut paper petals so the scented part is on each petal. Attach to a floral stem using florist tip and attach each petal one at a time. Keep adding until you're happy with the flower. Make a bunch, arrange, share, display.
See a full how-to in his book, Simply Green Parties.
I hate the perfume samples to begin with. But good idea for reuse.
