apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

We took this photo last summer in Paris. In France, the newsstands were full of papers and magazines featuring the candidate from Chicago on the cover. Inauguration Day felt like a long time off and very far away as we snapped this pic, but the day has finally arrived. Our son's class is enjoying a celebration today (including a "Pin the Obama on the White House" game) and friends of ours are throwing a big party to watch the events unfold, kicking off the festivities early in the day...at 9:30 am! From what we hear, lots of gatherings are planned...
