Lounge Lover, London

About one year ago, we visited Lounge Lover in London - a hot spot known for its decadent decor and pricey cocktails. Everything is big, bold, colorful, and mixed and matched beyond expectation.

We think entertaining at home can also be big and bold, and achieved in many forms: a dining room can go classic/traditional, simple/minimal, or all-out, colorful eye candy.

If you're feeling the need to add some drama and excitement in the dining room - take some cues from spots like Lounge Lover (it's all about the chandeliers, really).

Having been to both of these places I must agree the decor is playful, fun and worth a peek. Of the two I prefer Lounge Lover but be warned that it has some of the rudest staff in London.
