Political Pumpkin Designs

102708mcbama.jpgWhether you want the mug of your favorite candidate welcoming (or scaring?) trick-or-treaters, or prefer a more neutral bald eagle, statue of liberty, or vote message, political stencils for pumpkins are popping up everywhere this week:

Yes We Carve offers some great, simple designs/templates - obviously in support of Senator Obama. These stencils come from various sources and are free to download.

one of these on your porch just screams out for someone of opposing political beliefs to partake on mischief night....

I can do without this.

would it kill them to actually carve pumpkins with the designs instead of these horrible photoshops.

maybe then they would realize that the two at the very top would pretty much a be a garbled mess.

For someone like me, who uses a small coping saw blade on a knife to carve pumpkins, this would still be a challenge.

Not worth the hassle.

If you go to yeswecarve.com you will see tons of photos where the stencils work.

I'd rather go with this.

Spins- AT and a Wonketteer? Now there's a combination to love. I like the Hopey pumpkin better. I would carve a unicorn pumpkin to go with it. Or maybe just skip the politics and go for Trucknutz! You?

The stencils at yeswecarve.com are very easy! I enjoyed carving two pumpkins with their designs. This was the first time I have ever done a stencil as well. It is definitely worth checking out :)

ha! You're awesome, threadbare. I too am both an AT junkie and a Wonketteer. Poor Walnuts! looks the walnuttiest he can look with that stencil on the teal background.
