At the market yesterday, we grabbed a copy of Real Simple Celebrations at the checkout counter.
We liked the simple, clean organization of the book (not a surprise I guess, considering the source). It is set up by event, including annuals (thanksgiving, holiday, new years), occasionals (shower, bbq, milestone bday) and anytime get togethers (dinner, cheese and dessert parties).
A quick peek throught the pages this morning made us happy with the purchase. The photography is really nice and the recipes sound tasty. It covers ideas for invitations, recipes, decorations, activity ideas and the all important: cleanup.
Online we can only seem to find a hard cover copy so check your grocery stores and magazine stands if you are interested in the soft cover edition that we picked up ($12.99).
