apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Crafster user redflag had a mosaic phase (we had one of those, but it never yielded results anywhere near this cool) and in it made this fabulous table which makes a great place to throw her keys and groceries when she enters her kitchen. You can see close ups of her work here.

The tile came from the local hardware store and was done with discarded pieces that had already cracked and she busted them up further to fit the spaces she needed them for. The classic Simpson's yellow skin tone was made from clearance plates at Target to ensure the color was just right!

The layout of the characters was all done by redflag with the characters by creator Matt Groening added in. As Mr. Burns would say, this is ""Eeexcellent and we think its a fun addition and a great reminder to not take art, life or our design choices so seriously!
