Modern Flora Fabric

2008-01-29-modernflora.jpgLaunching today! A brand new line of fabric designs called Modern Flora. Coming in at the tail end of our month of all things DIY, we had to fit in these fabrics covered with patterns of various bright shades of blue, turquoise, apple green and lemongrass - happy colors guaranteed to freshen up a corner of your home that feels a bit too wintery (just about anywhere on a grey day like today)... and they are local!

2008-01-29-flora.jpgDesigned by Chicagoan Jessica Jones for J. Caroline Creative, these non-demure florals come in two weights to cover a range of home decor projects.

Shown above from left to right, the patterns are Sprig, Herb, Peapod and Leaflet. Sprig, Peapod, and Leaflet are printed on 54" wide 7 oz. canvas (cushions, shower curtains, upholstery) and Herb is printed on a 54" wide mid-weight cotton sheeting (lighter weight projects).

Available from J. Caroline Creative for $12.95 a yard.

Congratulations, Jessica!

That IKEA rocker is horrible... does not rock. I bought it from IKEA direct b/c it looked cool, but it is awful.
