Marimekko has released their new line of fabric patterns for Spring and Summer of 2009. Our favorites are from Sanna Annukka, a group of whimsical patterns which are based on an epic Finnish story, The Kalevala. We also like a bold geometric stripe by Iiro A. Ahokas which goes a bit retro (in a good way) in both b&w and rainbow...
...overall, the mood is upbeat, the colors vibrant, and the patterns suitable for the season.
