Congrats to Jesse, our Midwest Color Finalist!

...and a HUGE thanks to all of the midwest semi-finalists (especially Arno - it was a close one!) and entrants for sharing their colorful homes with all of us. Fabulous place.
I really like the textured paper on the wall with the floating credenza next to the deep brown wall and the pops of orange and teal. I also like that the space isn't all new shiny high price tag polished. It looks like you spent more time and thought then money which goes a long way with me. Your place went straight into my art file for set design.- congrats

This is a nice-looking home, but I'm pretty surprised that it got as far as it did in this contest. It's supposed to be about color, not just a nice interior, and I find it odd that people believe this place uses color in ways that are superior to this many other entrants. I think the structure of the voting skewed the results this way, and it doesn't seem completely deserved.
