Anyone else find the design of the voting process hard to deal with? Between the pop-up windows and overlays, I find myself participating way less than in the past. Maybe I'm just too particular about interfaces.

It was really cumbersome to try to look at all the entries because of the page loads. In the voting round (at least in Firefox), it doesn't reload the page to look at all the rooms which makes it much less of a time-consuming hassle. It should have been like that from the beginning - making it easier to see as many entries as possible and comment positively on deserving entrants that apparently fell through because the CB2 sponsors arbitrarily decided they should.

I'm finding it hard to vote because hardly any of the entries are worthy of it, and I don't know what to do when I think both should be finalists or neither deserve to get that far. Whether I vote or not, the contestant gets through and it's just in no way fair. People are just voting for the less offensive-looking apartment and not nearly getting the best of the best out of the original entrants.

I agree. This contest was planned very poorly.

I can't examine all the entries to vote by this method and really dislike pitting two entrants against each other. I missed some of the entries on busy days. Overall, Arno and another entry that featured colorful art and ghost chairs seem like a new direction in cheerful, lighthearted, artistic decorating. Many were beautiful and memorable but those two seem distinctively fresh.

This contest has dragged on waaay too long, it's very cumbersome, and the judges didn't choose very well. I voted once, and that is it. It's actually turned me off of AT and I am visiting less and less frequently. Apparently, they didn't take any reader suggestions from last years contest seriously enough to fix these probelms.

This is my first year on AT and I have to say that seeing all the entries is incredibly inspiring to me. I'm so glad to have found this site!

I hate the style of this year's voting so much I haven't been doing it, but I feel sort of guilty about it the entrants had nothing to do with that, and some of them put real effort into their entries.
