Join us on Monday (9.10.07) as we start posting photos from Week One of our Eight Week Group Cure. In the meantime, start the book, settle into your home and get ready!

This Weekend: Upload your "Before" photos to the Chicago Flickr Group for the Fall Cure 2007. Each week, we'll pull images of your Cure progress and post them on the front page of AT: Chicago. We'll also pull photos tagged with "apartmenttherapycurechicago." We're hoping for lots of comments, lively discussion and input from readers as we begin our first Midwestern installment of the Fall Cure!

Starting Monday, you'll see Fall Cure posts twice a week on AT: Chicago. (That's why it's so important that you begin taking and uploading those photos!)

And since we're all in this together, I'll be doing the Cure too (my apartment needs some lovin'). Let's get started on making our homes happier, healthier places to live!

I'll be late posting pictures: I'm dinosauris enough that I do not have a digital camera. I have taken pictures the hard way: I'll post after the roll is developed

I just checked out the book from my local library and read the first two chapters before dinner. I am completely inspired to do the Cure in my new condo. I just moved in two months ago and I think the Cure will help me break through the "what do I do now to make this place my home" wall I seem to have bumped up against.

Woo hoo! Let's go!

I'm going to work on pictures this morning. We're still trying to organize ourselves after getting married and moving in together. I'm hoping this will help us make our home a more relaxing place.

I am moving into a new apartment this weekend - I've skimmed the Cure before, and I'd like to do it. I wonder if it's possible to do the Cure while settling into a new home? I'll try, and hopefully get off to a good start :)

Thanks for joining, everyone! Don't sweat it if you have trouble posting pictures. The important thing is to do the Cure for yourself and your apartment.

One of the things I love about the Cure is that it's not about perfection...it's about doing what you can to improve both your life and your home.

Hi, y'all. I'm joining the Group, too (if you'll have me)... I'm in the prairies, in Canada, and Chicago is by far the closest Cure to me.

Francesca -- I think I recognize your name! And I'm so glad I'm not the only one without a digital camera.

Eira, I tried doing the Spring Cure while moving into a new apartment, and found it tricky... personally, I'm much more ready to Cure now, after having spent the last few months getting used to how this apartment feels, and how I interact with it, but I say, go for it -- it could really help you get settled in more quickly.

I've started a blog for my cure (and I hope that I'll soon be able to type blog correctly the first time, without having to correct my original typing of glob!) You can find me at http://serenityathome.blogspot.com

Serenity -- that's what I'm seeking through this iteration of the Cure.

I ordered the book online and am awaiting it with baited breath. We just moved, so our apartment is barely even photo-worthy...
