It's nothing fancy, a unframed photo strip and a few push pins, but we love this idea of (cat) eye-level artwork. Who doesn't love dining under their own portrait?

Mindy and Michael introduced us to LeeLou and her mid-century taste when they entered and were selected as a semi-finalist in 2007's Smallest Coolest contest.
Thanks, Mindy and Michael (and LeeLou!), for tagging your photos with "apartmenttherapychicago!"
Can cats see 2d? I thought they could only see moving 3d... I know they see color, right? IDK.... anyone knows?

@ Djluckyonline:
i think this is more for the owners than for the cat - very cute but the cat probably doesn't care ;0)

Wow...the cat goes really well with that chair. I'm pretty sure they were born to to be together.

Cute idea. I wish I could have dishes like that for my cat but he'd probably tip them over immediately.

Djluckyonline - My vet swore that cats can't see 2D images, but I'm not so sure. At that very vet's office, there was a poster of a huge dog on the back of the exam room door. We had to cover it up because my cat Locke would absolutely flip out if he saw it - he seemed to think that the dog was going to get him. If cats can't see 2D, I'd like to know how that poster managed to scare him so much...

If cats can't see 2D, then why does my cat "Tater" (short for couch potato) watch TV? He will watch anything with animals ("Animal Cops: Detroit" is his favorite show), but the minute a "human being" commercial comes on, he lcompltetly loses interest.

nazrd: a lot of cats like to watch TV. It can help keep them mentally stimulated if their human buddies will be away for long periods of time.
The cats at the shelter where I volunteer watch Mew-vies, basically birds and mice on loop.
