Whiteout by Renee Hartig: "We got this piece at the East Lansing Art Festival in 2006 at the 'Emerging Artists' booth. The artist, Renee Hartig, had some really cool pieces, but we were especially drawn to this one. It appeals to my Midwestern sensibilities."
Thanks, Showlola 1980!
That wall color looks a lot like what I just painted my living room (C2 Buttermilk). I have a chair in a similar blue to those paintings, and the colors just work wonderfully together. I love those pictures.

I'm also really into trees and have been thinking of trying my hand at painting something similar to what you have on some canvas as well- I especially like the blue canvas on top. I agree, art doesn't come cheap, so why not make it yourself- then you'll know no one else has it!

the art looks great.
will you share the wall color? (anne says it looks like c2 buttermilk, but would love to know what it is exactly). i've been looking for something similar, not too yellow, but still warm... almost reminds me of the color of masking tape. i mean that in a good way!
