Any info on the floating desk? Is it just a piece of wood or countertop with some metal brackets mounted to the wall?

A friend of theirs put the floating desk up. Had to do some slight damage to the wall, but patched it up in the end. Not quite sure how it's so sturdy (enough for a grown man to sit on), but wow is it cool..
