ekalb has a blog and a fantastic apartment in Cincinnati. These photos from flickr were tagged with apartmenttherapy and we are loving the peek inside his world (of lots of shelves and books and glassware!).
He has this to say in the caption for the photo above: "After living here a year I finally got around to organizing stuff on the ridiculous amount of bookcase shelves in this place. I thought I had alot of stuff. But it is still difficult to fill all these shelves."

"Another shot of all these bookcases. Had a book party last year and everyone that came had to bring an old book to add to the bookcases. Still plenty of room if you have any books you want to contribute."
"Dining room. I could not figure out what to put here. So I used an old piece of glass on top of a fabric sample cart. Then put a bunch of junk glass vases on top. The down light creates a cool effect at night."
"Bedroom solitude. I bought a black tool cabinet for a nightstand. I like to lock up my valuable tissues and sad collection of broken watches here."

Wondering why there are floor pillows in front of the large mirror between the bookcases. Wouldn't a bench be more comfortable?
beautiful. in the four years i lived in cincinnati, i had no idea such nice places could be lurking in that city. which area is this?
What an amazing place, I would move it right now and be very happy. The view is so nice, I like all the photo's during the different seasons.

as a former cincinnatian living in ny these photos make me cringe with jealousy. great space.
...as another former Cincinnatian, it's great to see some of the apartments live in so well. Oh, as you may know, that view rocks.
I think this might be on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River. I remember seeing some townhouses like that when I was visiting.
I could so fill those bookcases and then some - I'm having a car boot sale shortly to try to reduce my kitchen ware alone so that it will all actually fit in my kitchen - don't even ge me started on books!

Great place- the views from your apartment look alot like Boston....a nice mix of smaller neighbourhoods and skyline. Great art in the hallway- the brickman....love it.
Cincinnati! My hometown! I'm envious of your great place. My last apartment there was quirky and fun (all brick room, great wood floors, retro tile in the bathroom - seconds from Eden Park) but this is just gorgeous.
