Flickr Finds: Fabric Panels from TruDesign

Our Flickr folder keeps growing with great finds, and we enjoy seeing what's going on in your design minds (and in your apartments). We liked this fabric panel set from TruDesign, and are hoping that TruDesign will share with us her method and inspiration for these pieces. (More pics below.)

Hey, thanks Heather for posting my photos!

Basically I went to Home Depot and had them cut pieces of wood for me in the sizes I wanted, then hammered them together and wrapped fabric around them, securing it with staples.

I really like organic shapes, so I grabbed some fabric scraps that I have and started cutting. I glued the scraps on set them up on a window sill.

I live in a really old building and have an old vent/room that is closed off in the middle of my apartment. The windows are there, but painted over. So I knew I couldn't hang anything from them, so I came up with this idea. It only took a couple hours to complete and I can redo them any time I get sick of the design!
