AT:Chicago reader Heather tagged a few photos of displays that she has put together in her loft with "apartmenttherapychicago". From a creative re-use of a found branch as a wall hung jewelry display in the bedroom (looks great!) to photo and artwork arrangements, she has been busy feathering her nest. More photos below:
Flickr Finds: Heather's Displays
Heather has resituated the bedroom (since this photo was taken) to have the bed fit into a niche. We like the idea of framing/matting the three photographs all in the same way - the white functions well as the unifying factor for the cluster. Heather's notes on the photos point out that the roll pillows were an impulse buy at $9 each from CB2 - the purple is fantastic with the wall and bedding colors in the bedroom.
Love the "Ace" painting. Heather's notes say," painting by dear old friend and neighbor Derek Erdman". We posted about Derek here in January 07.

Oh I love this! I really despise those jewelry racks that sit on a dresser and just look like, well, jewely racks. This branch makes your baubles part of your room design -- not just the great branch alone.
