AT friend, Devyn (aka Looper), emptied his
Chicago loft over the weekend. As he trades Chicago for New York, we were happy to see how this Loop-loving designophile lived in his 8 years here. See more pics below from Spring of '07 - when the loft was still full.

(Thanks for sharing, Devyn, and good luck!)
Nice! I'm sure his new home will be just as cool (if a bit smaller).
I don't need an address or anything, but approximately where is this in Chicago? I love it.

I would have a stroke in there...it's too crowded.....

LOVE it!!! What a cool, perfect space! It must be sad to leave such an amazing space. When do we get to see the new NY digs?

I did that hanging pot rack thing over my counter too.
Love it.
Kind of like a stainless-steel chandelier in my kitchen.

Thanks everybody...
My Chicago loft was on State and Washington in the Loop (above Nordstrom Rack). I lived there for four years. It was definitely a special (albeit small for Chicago) space. I will miss it much.
I am still looking for a place in NYC, and based upon what I have been looking at this week, it will be much smaller (and no where near as nice). Which will mean that I need to work even harder to make it mine. I will share it as soon as I can.
Keisha, it wasn't as crowded as it looks.
The crystal chandelier was assembled from three fixtures I bought at ABC Carpet and Home's former DUMBO location a few years ago. I had to leave it behind for the buyer.
