Speaking of Escapes...first Paris, and then Scottsdale. Kathryn stayed at a hip hotel in Arizona and took plenty of photos to pass on the design inspiration. The Valley Ho was built in 1956 and was fully renovated in recent years, with an eye on its Hollywood (Natalie Wood and Robert Wagner got married here) and Mid-C roots.

Great pictures. I've stayed at the Ho and really enjoyed it. Nice size rooms and overall good vibe. There are some cool seating areas throughout the hotel.
The Valley Ho was fantastic - I'd love to go back when the weather is warmer.
That said, I've had more than enough travel lately -- I don't want to have to fly anywhere any time soon!!
This was trully a mid century dream, stayed there this oct. they have some kinks to work out but,overall a great experience, a southern California vibe in Scottsdale Who knew?
Scottsdale practically is southern California, 5 years behind maybe.
They did a wonderful job on the Ho.

I love the Hotel Valley Ho! My brother lives in scottsdale and it is beautiful! Shopping galore! I visit Valley Ho every couple of months for drinks in the lounge and we really enjoy it, I surely recomend it! JC

My husband and I stayed there at Halloween last year (threw a party in one of the sweet suites) and then again for our 2 year anniversary and i highly suggest it! the summer rates are really great and somewhat affordable. There is always something happening at the pool and the pina coladas are deee-licious!
When we checked in the concierge gave us a 40% off coupon for spa services... I already had an appointment! my husband treated me to an hour massage at the spa and after, they gave me more coupons!
