We've noticed some great new pics in Flickr (tagged with
apartmenttherapychicago, of course), and stopped in our tracks upon seeing the color and lines of this
sofa belonging to Mviamontes. We were happy to get a little background info - it's the Bantam sofa from DWR - but we have a couple more questions:
Can you tell us about the amazing b&w pillow? And what are the photographs hanging overhead?

(Thanks, Mviamontes!)
I think it is the Sequence Silk Pillow by Plush Living www.plush-living.com
Ooo, that room is swank-tastic! Love it!
couch looks exactly like the one my neighbors picked up off craigslist two months ago. $300 in nowhere-near-as-good condition, but it still looks nice.
and people really seem to abuse that tag. i mean, there's hotels in there! and the before/after - how 'bout just the after. if we want the before, we'll follow it via the set, not through "apartmenttherapychicago" tags, please.
Martin:
Thanks for looking out for "over tagging" but Heather and I are happy to see lots of photos tagged with "apartmenttherapychicago" - we are fine with doing a little searching to find nice photos to post on the front page...
the more the merrier!
The pillow is in fact the Sequence Silk Pillow by Plush Living. I picked it up on sale at Room and Board last spring. The pictures above the sofa are black and white photographs from a recent trip to NYC framed with black Pottery Barn frames.
I love it!
I want it - I want it - I want it!
Perfect shape, although I wish there was a tad bit more color selection.
We have the Bantam sofa and love it, but it is impossible to clean. Spot cleaning doesn't do it; spot cleaning actually leaves white spots in place of the stain. :(
Sorry Alex :( I've had the sofa for almost a year now and have never spilled anything on it. I do get annoyed by the extra fabric in the single seat cushion. I am constantly straightening it out.
We've had the sofa for about two years and I made the mistake of letting my teenage nephews eat pizza while sitting on it. *slaps forehead*
I think we're just going to end up getting the entire thing professionally cleaned. :(
