apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Flickr Finds: New from Nikkomoy

We're always happy to see new photos show up on flickr with our tag - and Nikkomoy does not disappoint with the new images of her organic minimalist home, which we've seen glimpses of in the past.

Her newest photos feature a great chair and footstool tableau (above). We'd love to know where that cute creature and super textural pillows are from... below the jump there is a peek at a very cool wallhanging project that she has underway and info on another upcoming (really great idea) diy as well.

Nikkomoy's caption for this photo of her hooked wool wall project: "I have a long way to go"...

She plans to make a "tv cozy" to cover up the electronics now hidden by the sheet here. It's going to look great...here's the link she provided to the project specs over at Blueprint.

Thanks for the new photos, Nikkomoy!

Does she qualify for the SCA competition? She'd have my vote!

Thanks, Katie! Credenza was craigslist score from a neighbor down the street! This summer I hope to restore it with a little steel wool and tung oil.

Aw..glad you like my nest! Phaedrus, my place is like 400sf overthe limit to qualify for the SCA. Too bad. Maybe if there's ever a MCA (Medium Coolest Apartment)...

FYI, I scored the Senufo Pony Chair from the Marshall Field's State Street Flea Market during an 80% clearance sale due to the Macy's buy-over.

I score almost all my decorative pillows at the thrift!

Wool was acquired dirty off the sheep, sent to get cleaned, hand spun and croqueted...we'll see what it becomes.
