Flickr Finds: Porcelain and Cardboard at Dream Home

Dream Home is a good field trip. We went to the preview and did a Design Report post on one of the rooms (which reminds us - it's time to do another...).

The bloggers over at Design Boner, Porcelain and Cardboard, made the trip, took a bunch of good photos (including one of our favorite things at dream home, shown above, the polaroids dispayed in the Hermes placecard clips) and added their thoughts on the experience. Open through December 22 at the Merchandise Mart, it gives design fans a chance visit a "home" in which each room is done by a different designer, ulitizing materials available at the Mart.

I didn't know that the placecard clips were by Hermse. Dang! That is the FANCIEST placecard clip ever!!! I love those polaroids. The image of the person lying on the bed seems really familiar. Perhaps something I've seen on flickr. Anyone know who took it?
