Making lists of the things needing to be accomplished around the house can sometimes be daunting. Writing everything out that needs to be done can sometimes feel opressive, especially when our lives are busy with activities that seem more appealing.
However, there is a certain level of satisfaction that comes from checking an item off your list and knowing your stress level just went down a notch.
We found this to-do list while doing some totally random Flickr surfing. Turns out it's the list of a rather avid Apartment Therapy reader. Click through the jump for a look at other random To-Do lists and to share your thoughts on making lists for more than the grocery store!
There is actually a rather surprising amount of To-Do Lists on Flickr.
Reader Matt in KC made this list and in the Flickr notes, has even outlined when he hopes to have everything accomplished.
Does your house have a master to-do list? Would it help you if you did? Sometimes writing everything out on paper (email is a close second) with a pen (kicking it old school) can be somewhat freeing. It allows you to quit worrying about all the things needing to be done at once and focus on only one task at a time until things are finished!
Are you a list maker? Or would you rather not admit to the work needing to be done?

Yes, I am a list maker.
I wouldn't be able to function in life without them, it seems.

I don't usually need to keep a list. I do make lists in my phone in the notepad function, but they are usually shopping lists or wish lists. I kind of have an idea of things that need to be done or that I want to have done. I look around and it's evident.
If it's a list for someone else, like say, when my sister was getting married, I did a bunch of stuff I had to do over several months and then made a list finally of things I still needed to do before leaving town, about 3 weeks before, little details one might easily forget, the one thing out of 6 or 7 other little things you could still rattle off.
Same with things at work. I am constantly being told to put things on my list only to keep losing my list, so I am getting a whiteboard. Paper is just an enemy. I keep a physical manifestation of a list by doing the tasks I find on and around my desk. I don't really get caught up in crossing things off the list. I know when I'm done with a task because the pile just got a little smaller. I don't like being harassed about not writing things down, so that's why I'm getting a whiteboard.
