Custom Vintage Silverware Garden Markers

We saw a tweet from gochrisgo of Our Brooklyn Roof Garden, declaring that these custom garden markers made from vintage silverware are stunning. And we agree...

...100%! Great looking and clever, they would add just the right touch of home-y history to a garden. We like how imperfect they are while remaining firmly in the "pretty" camp.

They are made by Alison Cecil (shown above in the photo to the far right) and she sells them at Monkeys Always Look, her Etsy shop. Each order is custom and the price is $8. All info is here.

Very clever.
Obviously way more clever than the gardener (or cook) that can't tell the difference between basil, thyme and rosemary!
Perhaps a 4th one that says "cannabis" might help put it all in perspective...

jajaja The photograph struck me the same way. I guess all they wanted was for us to visualize the markers being used... with some plant id liberties jeje.

Warponey, I had to giggle. Maybe that proud kitchen gardener places labels for the benefit of kids, visitors, nosy neighbors ... and that custom label could read, "Annabis-cay."
