Spending a few days in the Vegas desert, I'm noticing how different the gardens here are compared to those in the Midwest. Without rich soil and regular rainfall, desert landscaping requires a major brain shift for a Chicagoan. But I'm loving the tough attitude of these sun-loving plants.
