Shopping in Chicago: Buying Plants for the Back Porch

We spent Saturday out and about, buying a couple of plants for our back porch from the Green Grocer and Grand Street Gardens. Along the way, we snapped photos of plants, people, and the final set-up on our back porch...

We bought basil and arugula at the Green Grocer. The plants come from Tomato Mountain Farm in Wisconsin.

We picked up organic potting soil and a few cleaning supplies at Grand Street Gardens.

We planted the arugula in our windowsill box. The basil went inside an old planter we had on the porch. We still need more plants, but we're getting there.
