We like all things Amy - it may be because she makes the Midwest proud with her stylish wares, but even more so, we like her command of color, fearless use of pattern and the overall "midwest modern" aesthetic she brings to all of her projects. Horizon 11! My sister (roomie) just painted our living room cabinet a hot pink and birch color, and we have this great green tweed reading chair that was our great-grandfathers, and our couch is sort of a brownish color (that sounds really ugly... but its great in real life and we need a great pillow to go with everything!).

I live in a tiny apartment in Brooklyn with 3 other girls and we are desperately attempting to make it look comfortable, colorful, and cozy. We would go gaga over Horizon 11 - it would add some flavor to our boring beige couch and be a nice addition to our living room which as of now consists solely of furniture donated by our parents or found on the street.

All the pillows that Amy has designed are just stunning...it is hard to choose one of the whimsy patterns! I am moving to England this summer and I know that I am going to need a lot of new decorating ideas and now I just saw the perfect color for my living room wall...soft gray/green color that is in Horizon 12. I would love to see that sitting on my arm chair!

You know, this is a GREAT way for designers to test out new products or patterns. Because no matter who is chosen, there are choices made by the readership that is probably close to what will be chosen in stores. Preferences.
It's a great way too, to promote products. To let people know what is out there, and showcase various designs. And it could be anything, like dishes or glasses. Sheets and pillowcases. There could be giveaways in The Kitchen for cookware and kitchen tools.
Anyway, no pillows for me. I don't even have a sofa. I am sitting in the only chair there is in my apartment. Which is a rescued from near the dumpster office chair. And the patterns are too busy for me. And one just doesn't put decorative pillows on office chairs. Ha!

It's so hard to choose! I love Horizon 9 and 10. I guess since I have to choose one, I would pick Horizon 9.
