Modern art glass.
Guido Goldkuhle is a glass craftsman based in Traverse City, MI and much of his work is done in Chicago. He does custom work of all types and also has a line of interior and exterior doors.
We are not always fans of "new" art glass in residential settings - while we've seen beautiful examples of period stained glass in homes, the new stuff just hasn't appealed somehow - but we really like Guido's work.
It's simple, the scale is grand but not fussy, the glass looks like a luxurious material and it's not overdone. We think it's best to let the photos of his work show you what we mean:
