Decorative Guinea Hens

These little guinea hens from France are kind of strange and sweet. We were surprised to come across them while looking for bird-inspired decor (we were mainly expecting to see a variety of designs incorporating the ever-popular sparrow). As an extension of pet month, we're going to be searching for some animal-inspired stuff for those of us that don't have pets!

My sister and I spent a magical six weeks traveling around West Africa several years ago, and we made a game out of "spot the Guinea Hen." Since then I have obsessively given her guinea hen gifties of all shapes and sizes (candles, ceramics, earrings...) but there are certainly the most expensive I have seen!
