Dinnerware from Anthropologie

052406anthro1.jpgThe Summer 2006 Anthropologie catalog had us wanting it all. We wanted the home goods, the clothes, and to visit Colonia, Uruguay, the location of this amazing photoshoot (we're basing this solely on a license plate in one of the shots).

Anthropolgie really knows how to get to us.

One of the first images in the catalog shows a set table combining some fabulous dinnerware pieces including these Pimiento bowls (pictured above).

052406anthro2.jpgA set of four Pimiento bowls from Portugal runs $32. We love the solid/pattern combination of mixing these with the Naranja dinner plates. This Batik floral earthenware set of four, also from Portugal, runs $40.

I refuse to shop at Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters because they are both owned by uber-Rebublican Richard Haynes who has a long history of financially supporting Rick Santorum and other arch conservatives. Put your money where your politics are. Look it up.

Hi Kindbud1,

How do we know what kind of businesses politicians do - what do they own, where ?

thankyou

The red Batik floral print plates are gorgeous! With Anthropologie it's just too hard to choose.
