Emma Bridgewater Pottery

120408teaeggmilk.jpgEmma Bridgewater Pottery (like Bridgewater tea towels) is the classic gift: "Crafted in the small Victorian English town of Stoke on Trent, each piece is hand painted and hand finished - yet they remain dishwasher and microwave safe." We pulled a few of our favorites here, but through Joanne Hudson Basics online, there's a ton more...tins, caddies, bowls, trays, mugs, jugs, mitts, cups....

pricey stuff, but if you've ever seen bridgewater-- it's fantastic classic english stoneware. it's just too bad the crappy u.s. dollar keeps this u.k. import so expensive. too bad it's not made in china!

I like it but WAY too expensive, I'd trade in a couple bucks for it not to be dishwasher safe. LOL I can hand wash it, if only it were less expensive

Am I the only one bothered by "fresh milk?" I mean, what else would it be? Sour?

That doesn't really seem too expensive to treat yourself to a nice thing. If you needed a whole set, well that's a different story. I wouldn't want everything in the kitchen to tell me what it is. Let me guess sometimes.
