F2 Glass: This Weekend at DWR Exhibition and I.D. Chicago

"F2 is a design collaboration between Marilyn and Peter Frank. Their body of work includes one-of-a-kind glass objects (vessels and lighting), mixed media sculpture and painting...F2 approaches their creative pursuits with the notion that all art has 'function'."

We're loving glass right now, and F2, with their combined graphic design expertise (Marilyn) and sculpture and glassblowing talent (Peter), are leading the Chicago glass design scene. Find F2 this weekend:

 
 

051106F2wemakeit.jpgOn Friday, F2's work will be shown at the opening night party for DWR's Modern+Design+Function: Chicago Furniture Now exhibition (for which F2 received an honorable mention this year). The exhibition runs through June 3.

Also on Friday, May 12: Opening party and trunk show of new glass design at I.D. from 7-9 pm, including a meet and greet with Peter and Marilyn.

Based in Chicago, you can find F2's work at Orange Skin, Hejfina, and Morlen Sinoway Atelier, or at their exhibition space: F2 LAB.
