We spotted this bedside carafe while doing Matt and Otto's house tour, and decided we had to have one, too. We've got a bad habit of always having a day-old glass of water on our bedside table, or sometimes (and even more personally annoying) an empty water bottle. Why we've never looked into getting a good-looking, purposeful carafe is beyond us.

I have this one from Crate and Barrel and love it! One of our cats likes to drink out of our water glasses if we aren't too careful. These covered carafes are perfect in avoiding kitty salvia!!!

I've had my eye on this one: http://www.vivaterra.com/pls/enetrixp/!stmenu_template.main?complex_id_in=482007.484184.484184.492149.page
This is such a great idea-- sure beats all the empty water glasses I have around my bedroom.
I have the bedside craffe from CB2 and it is great. I am familar with the one Lisa has her eye on, and I am familiar with the one from Crate and Barrel. If you are going to got and buy a craffe, I suggest the one from CB2.
What do people think of this craffe from restoration hardware?

I got my bedside carafe from Pier 1 for less than $7 a couple of years ago, it also has a matching cup that fits on top. The Pier 1 website has a two different styles for $4 (link in my name)
Rich:
the restoration hardware one is very similar, but an even simpler design. i like it (and it's only $19?!). i think this one from CB2 is still my favorite so far...
LaDonna: the pitcher/glass combo is nice too, although it doesn't look like the glass actually fits on top, and that's my favorite feature. okay, $4? really? thanks for showing us some options out there.
i'm wrong: the glass DOES function as a lid on the Pier 1 pitcher. even better.
