Epoch/Pie: Food and Flowers

How did we not know about this shop before? They sell two of our favorite things: flowers and baked goods, all inside a stylish space that's worth visiting, if not for pies and plants, then at least for the inspirational decor. Located in the Gold Coast neighborhood, Epoch florists and Pie bakery joined forces last year to create the ultimate specialty store. Click below for a peek inside their shop, which is full of great design ideas...

We love the idea of using a mirror frame to showcase a pretty pattern.

The shop's colors are chocolate brown and white.

OMFG. What I would not give for one of those sweet treats right now. I am having a major snack attack. Also, the frames are beautiful. I want to try showcasing some of my favorite fabric that is too small to do anything else with.

Those ornate frames are actually plastic and from Ikea, for about $ 25 each.

Ha that's so funny Linnea, I was going to say the same thing. So funny they posted them as antique. I'm actually on my way to ikea to get one of those frames - love them!

I picked up one of the frames on my last trip there, but looking at these pictures I've determined I need at least one more!

I was wondering if this store was selling those frames. Because I was going to say, isn't that frame from Ikea? It would be great as a mirror.

Thanks for the IKEA tip - didn't realize they were from there!
