A good question from Parker: "Looking to add a little more seating on my balcony.
I have a small patio table and two small chairs out there but would love to find an inexpensive bench that could be left out there all year. Nothing too long, something that would fit two people snugly."

Our best find for a stylish small scale bench is the one we pictured in the two photos here, from Smith and Hawken.
It's made from ecologically harvested teak, which does really well when kept outdoors and is super compact, measuring 34" L x 13" D. It is priced at $199.
Any other suggestions/solutions for Parker?

That one above is really nice.
But if you are like me and can't put as much $ into your outdoor space I went for the Molger bathroom bench from Ikea. It looks great! It doesn't take up a lot of space, it's treated so water will bead up on it and you can store things on the shelf below it. There is just enough space to store my watering can, pots, etc. I'll snap a picture so you can see how it looks outside.

I saw this bench on sale for about $50 when I was at IKEA yesterday (product name: Malaro). I think it has great lines and looks really sweet and traditional, but with a modern twist. It's a great deal, even at the full price of $79.

Try Target - search for benches and there are many options there.
An affordable candidate with similar looks to the Smith & Hawken version would be the 30" Slat Bench - Teak is for $39.99.(14" also available.)
