Good Questions: Info on this Black & White Rug?

Gina is looking for info: Does anyone know where I can find the b&w rug featured on 11/11/2008? The title of the article was Black, White, and Brown Dining Room Inspiration. I have been trying to find it ever since I saw the photo...

Unfortunately, I think the photo stylist did some fudging there. That looks like a suzani (an embroidered cloth), not a rug. You can get something similar on eBay for $100, but it won't hold up to heavy wear on the floor. Maybe you could use it on top of the table, instead of under it?

I've seen suzani-inspired oriental rugs at ABC Carpet, among other places, but they're handmade, so they tend to be a bit expensive. I haven't seen any machine-made rugs like this.

(BTW, that pattern looks similar to traditional Hawaiian quilts. You might want to check out Hawaiian quilts on eBay, for another area of your home.)
