apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Good Questions: Local Landscape Architects?

Dear AT,

We have a 15' x 14' space off our master bedroom that we would like to build out into a quiet oasis. We are willing to spend some money, but just aren't sure where to get started. We're wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Possibly a Landscape Architect???

Thanks,
Adam

Yes, start with a landscape architect! If I wasn't across the country I'd love to help.

The ASLA website has a resource for listing firms in your area:

If you're not wanting to make too many structural changes, you may want to consider a garden designer. Usually cheaper, but quite often more knowledgeable in regards to plant material.
