Good Questions: Reproduction Klismos Chair Sources?

Alert, sources needed!

Jessica wrote in with a good question: "Can anyone tell me where I can find a good reproduction Klismos chair like this? I can't seem to find anything at a reasonable price. Any help would be great. Thanks!"

Jessica, we found a set of four very nice looking vintage Klismos Chairs on eBay (from a seller here in Illinois) with a starting bid of $99.

The seat style is different than the photo you sent in, but they share the signature, classic klismos-shaped legs and back - check out the photo below....

The bidding ends on August 2, and the seller says they are in excellent condition. Here is the link to the auction.

Our eBay find aside, we should mention that we see them often on 1st Dibs, but the prices are usually quite high, which doesn't fit your request.

In addition to vintage sources, we did a search for retailers that carry or make reasonably priced new reproduction Klismos chairs without much luck, but are hoping some savvy readers can come up with some more options and ideas...
