Good Questions: Where Can I Find an Abaca Rug?

Dear AT,

Help! I have been looking like crazy for a super thick abaca area rug. I saw one in Arizona which came from L.A. When I went to order it in a custom size I was told that the supplier had disappeared. Now I am obsessed! It was fabulous for a bedroom because it has that natural sisal look but is much chunkier and softer on the feet. Any chance someone knows where to find this?! Sadly, I am a designer but cannot find a source for this.

Dear Jane,
If an in-person experience is not all that important to you, we found a good selection at Natural Floors, based in California. Or, some local Chicago spots to try with large selections: Home Carpet One or Roy's Home Furnishings. Anyone else have some suggestions for Jane?
