Were Can I Find a Simple Flatscreen TV Stand?

Q: Where to find a decent looking - not too expensive - Flat TV Stand in chrome and glass - simple! This is something that should be so standard but impossible to find. Everything that I have found is either black, fake wood. Or the chrome ones all have rounded legs (what's worse than rounded chrome legs?) and strange shapes.

Rather than a media stand - have you considered using a coffee table instead?

The long coffee table from BDI seems like it might suit you:

- You could always swap the wood shelf w/ a custom-cut piece of frosted glass if it didn't suit you.

Personally, I am saving up approximately $300 for the lucite television stand featured in the West Elm catalog. This is as I am saving up the money for a nice flat screen TV.

I've always thought the LAX series media unit was a really cool choice for a solid wood, modern tv stand.

What about any ideas for a corner TV stand? We have a 46 inch flat panel that I'm trying to push into the corner. I know flat panels shouldn't go in the corner, but this is the only option.

We got exactly what you're describing at Ikea a few years ago - unfortuantely, though, I don't see it on their website. It was kind of like this one (although I like ours better):
