Joyce Maynard has been a reporter for the New York Times, a magazine journalist, radio commentator, and syndicated columnist, as well as the author of five novels... click through the jump to learn more.
Her best-selling memoir, At Home in the World, has been translated into nine languages. She appears regularly as a storyteller with The Moth in New York City and serves on the faculty of the Stonecoast Writing Program in Maine.
Mother of three grown children, she makes her home in Mill Valley, California, and Lake Atitlan, Guatemala, where, in addition to pursuing her own work, she also runs writing workshops.
